Sarfaraz Ahmed set to become Pakistan test head coach
The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to appoint former national captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as the head coach of the Test team, according to sources.
Sarfaraz Ahmed is expected to assume his role during the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, scheduled for May.
Sources said the appointment will follow the completion of the current interim coach Azhar Mahmood’s tenure.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is expected to officially announce Sarfaraz Ahmed’s appointment soon.
Sarfaraz is currently serving as a manager and mentor with the national Under-19 team.
