Sarfaraz Ahmed appointed Pakistan Test team coach
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint former national captain Sarfaraz Ahmed as the coach of the Pakistan Test cricket team.
According to sources, Sarfaraz Ahmed will take charge as coach for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, scheduled for May.
The appointment comes following the end of interim coach Azhar Mahmood’s tenure.
The sources said the PCB is expected to officially announce Sarfaraz Ahmed’s appointment soon.
Currently, Sarfaraz Ahmed is serving as manager and mentor for Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team.
