Karachi hospitals witness sharp rise in cold-related illnesses

The increase in the intensity of cold in Karachi has led to an increase in the number of patients in hospitals.
Civil Hospital Emergency Hand Dr Imran Sarwar Sheikh says that on normal days, 1,200 cases were brought to the emergency room, while currently more than 2,000 patients are being reported.
Cases of pneumonia, respiratory diseases, fever, and cold have started being reported in private and government hospitals.
Experts have instructed citizens to use warm clothes and food, while advising them to avoid outside food.
