Former Pakistan international cricketer Imad Wasim’s second marriage has triggered widespread debate on social media after his former wife, Sania Ashfaque, shared a video from his wedding ceremony along with emotional allegations.

In a recent post on Instagram, Sania shared footage showing Imad with his new bride in a cheerful mood during the wedding celebrations.

Alongside the video, she wrote that she was seeking justice for her children, claiming they had been treated unfairly.

In her message, Sania hinted at the involvement of a “third person” in the breakdown of her marriage and said that the truth had now come to light.

Following her statement, many social media users expressed sympathy and support for her.

She later issued another statement alleging that in December 2023, Imad arranged for the termination of her pregnancy in Lahore. She further claimed that she possessed video evidence related to the incident and described him as deceptive.

Meanwhile, Imad Wasim formally confirmed his second marriage through social media. In his message, he acknowledged that his first marriage had not been successful and described that period as the most difficult phase of his life.

He added, however, that the relationship had given him three children, whom he called the greatest blessing of his life, and said his love for them would always remain unchanged.

Imad stated that, with the grace of God and after consulting his parents, he had solemnised his nikah with Naila Raja. He said the decision was made after careful consideration to build a peaceful and dignified life, adding that Naila had brought stability and trust into his life.

Imad and Sania were married in August 2019 and have three children. Their separation was announced in December 2025.

Speculation about Imad’s relationship with Naila first emerged in July 2025 after the two were seen together in London. Since then, the matter gradually become a subject of public discussion.

Following the latest developments, social media appears divided. One section has voiced solidarity with Sania and called for prioritising the welfare of the children, while others have described the issue as a private matter and urged restraint.

In her original Instagram post, Sania wrote that she wanted justice for her children and claimed that evidence had exposed what she described as wrongdoing. The statements have continued to fuel debate, with no official legal proceedings confirmed so far.
