An explosive device detonated outside the office of former PTI Nazim Fida Muhammad in Bannu, officials said.

Fida Muhammad was unharmed, but his vehicle was destroyed.

Police said unidentified militants had planted the explosive near the main gate of the office.

Domel police arrived at the scene immediately and have launched an investigation into the attack.
