Karachi braces for colder weekend as temperatures expected to drop
Karachi is expected to experience a further drop in temperatures over the weekend, with minimums possibly reaching 9°c.
Deputy Director of the Meteorological Department, Anjum Nazir, said cold winds are blowing from the northeast, keeping nights chilly.
From Thursday, the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 11°c and 13°c.
Over the weekend, the cold is likely to intensify, while no rainfall is expected in Karachi or across Sindh over the next ten days.
In the past 24 hours, the minimum temperature was recorded at 13.5°c, with maximums ranging from 25°c to 27°c.
