274 terrorists killed in operation Ghazab lil-Haq, DG ISPR

DG ISPR said on Friday that 274 terrorists of the Taliban regime and Khawarij were killed, and more than 400 others were injured during operation Ghazab lil-Haq.

During a press conference in Rawalpindi, Pakistan Army Spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that first they fulfilled India’s desire, now they are fulfilling Afghanistan’s desire.

While providing details of the operation conducted on the night of February 21 and 22 along the Pak-Afghan border, he said that the aim of operation Ghazab lil-Haq was to target terrorists’ hideouts in the border areas and ensure the security of the country

“Firing was opened on 15 sectors of the border and from a total of 53 locations,” he said.

He added that during the operation, an effective and forceful response was given to the enemy at all 53 locations.

According to the spokesperson, a total of 274 Taliban regime personnel and Khawarij were killed in the operation, while more than 400 terrorists were injured. He said that more than 73 posts of the Taliban regime were destroyed.

He further said that 18 posts of the Taliban regime are under the control of Pakistan, while 115 enemy tanks and armoured vehicles have been destroyed.

The DG ISPR said that a total of 22 hideouts of Fitna-ul-Hindustan and Fitna-ul-Khawarij were targeted during the operation.

The targets were targeted with utmost precision in Kabul, Paktia and Kandahar. 115 tanks, armoured vehicles and other military equipment were destroyed during the operation.

He said that the terrorists fled, leaving the bodies of their comrades behind. He confirmed that 12 soldiers of the Pakistani army were martyred during the operation.

The DG ISPR said Pakistan will continue to operate under its policy and that all political parties are in agreement on the elimination of terrorism, and there is a need for unity on the issue of national security, overcoming differences.
