The prices of gold and silver recorded a decrease in the domestic and international markets on Thursday.

According to the jewellers’ association, the price of one tola of gold went down by Rs700 to settle at Rs540,562.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs600, bringing the new price to Rs463,444.

Gold prices in the global market saw a slight dip, dropping by $7 per ounce to settle at $5,178.

On the other hand, silver prices also took a noticeable hit. In the local market, the price of one tola of silver fell by Rs350, bringing it down to Rs9,204 per tola.
