Pakistan has extended the closure of its airspace to all Indian-registered military and civilian aircraft by another month, authorities confirmed on Thursday.

According to a new Notice to Airmen (Notam) issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority, all Indian military and civilian aircraft will be barred from transiting through Pakistan’s airspace until March 23.

Pakistan had originally closed its airspace to India starting April 23, 2025.

The initial closure followed military clashes between the two countries after New Delhi unilaterally suspended the Indus Water Treaty.
