The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) has convened a meeting on February 11 to review pending complaints against judges, official sources said on Monday.

Sources said the session will be held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi.

The meeting will examine various complaints and references currently pending against members of the superior judiciary. The council is expected to assess the progress of ongoing cases and decide on further action in line with constitutional provisions.

The SJC is responsible for overseeing judicial accountability and handling allegations of misconduct against judges of the superior courts.

Officials said the upcoming meeting reflects renewed focus on transparency and discipline within the judiciary.
