Scotland beat Italy by 73 runs in their T20 World Cup match on Monday, handing the Italian team a defeat in its first appearance at the tournament.
Scotland scored 207 runs for four wickets in 20 overs, with George Munsey making 84 and Michael Jones scoring 37.
Michael Leask added 22 runs, while Brandon McMullen contributed 41.
Richie Barrington was out for 15 runs, and Tom Bruce for one.
In reply, Italy was bowled out for 134 runs while chasing a target of 208 runs.
Leask took four wickets for Scotland, while Mark Watt claimed two.
Brad Wheal, Brad Currie and Oliver Davidson took one wicket each.
The Pakistani team will play its second match of the T20 World Cup against the United States on Tuesday in Colombo.
