Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi is expected to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today (Monday) to discuss Pakistan’s boycott of the match against India in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

According to sources, Naqvi will brief the prime minister on his recent meeting with an International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation.

The sources said a final decision on playing the match against India will be made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

It may be recalled that an ICC delegation arrived in Lahore on Sunday to meet Mohsin Naqvi and requested Pakistan to reconsider its decision regarding the match against India.

The sources added that the talks would be considered successful if Bangladesh’s grievances are addressed, while Pakistan’s decision on playing India would be taken at a later stage.
