Eleven recently confirmed judges of the Lahore High Court took the oath as permanent members in a ceremony held on Saturday.

Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Aalia Neelum, administered the oath to the newly confirmed judges.

The ceremony was attended by Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Advocate General of Punjab, the Prosecutor General of Punjab, and several senior lawyers and members of the bar councils.

The judges taking the oath as permanent members of the Lahore High Court include Justice Hasan Nawaz, Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Ali Akbar, Justice Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Justice Malik Javed Iqbal, Justice Jawad Zafar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Owais Khalid, Justice Sultan Mehmood, Justice Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, and Justice Abher Gul Khan.
