Security Forces Foil Attempts at 12 Locations Across Balochistan - Pakistan News

Security forces have killed at least 58 militants in timely and effective operations after coordinated attacks were carried out at multiple locations in Balochistan last night, security sources said on Saturday.

According to the sources, militants belonging to the Indian terror proxy Fitna Al Hindustan launched attacks at 12 different locations across the province late on Saturday night.

The sources said that all the attacks were successfully thwarted in swift action by security forces and law enforcement agencies.

Ten personnel of the security forces and police were martyred while defending against the attacks.

The security sources said that terrorists killed five members of a Baloch labourer family, including a woman and three children, in Gwadar.

Balochistan Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Shahid Rind said that more than 70 terrorists had been killed across various areas of the province over the past two days.

Rind said that militant groups attempted to carry out attacks at several locations in the province.

However, police and Frontier Corps personnel responded swiftly and effectively, foiling all such attempts.

He added that terrorists attempted to launch attacks at multiple sites, but timely and coordinated action by law enforcement agencies prevented any damage.

According to Shahid Rind, security forces are continuing to pursue fleeing militants, and further details will be shared as operations progress.

Security officials said that there are reports that militants suffered heavy casualties and damage during the ongoing operations.

The sources also said that over the past 48 hours, a total of 41 militants from the same group had already been killed in separate operations in different parts of Balochistan, taking the overall toll significantly higher amid intensified counterterrorism efforts.
