Army conducts relief operations as heavy snow disrupts life in Tirah Valley
Amid continuous snowfall in Tirah Valley, the Pakistan Army has launched relief operations to assist local residents and restore normalcy, sources said on Sunday.
The severe snowstorm has severely affected communication systems and road links in the area.
In response, the Frontier Corps immediately initiated relief efforts.
Despite harsh weather and difficult terrain, troops reached out to the affected people and removed several vehicles trapped in the snow.
The army has also started distributing food, blankets, emergency medical aid, and other essential supplies to the families affected by snowfall and rain.
Due to the army’s relief work, key road links in the region have been restored, accelerating rescue efforts.
The army reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of the local population, the maintenance of peace, and the full restoration of daily life in the region.
