At least three children and a woman were killed on Wednesday when explosive material detonated in a house in the rural Ronti area of Ghotki, Sindh, police said.

The incident occurred in the village of Saltushar, where Sindh police are conducting an ongoing operation against suspected militants.

Initial reports indicate the explosives, kept inside a house, detonated unexpectedly.

The victims’ families claimed that a possible drone activity by police may have triggered the blast during the operation.
