The Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, Rear Admiral Saif Bin Nasser Bin Mohsin Al Rahbi, met Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional maritime security, and bilateral naval cooperation.

The Omani naval chief praised the Pakistan Navy’s professionalism and its role in promoting maritime stability in the region.

Later, both officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the exchange of white shipping information.
