Intermittent rain brings pleasant weather to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Intermittent rain continued for a second consecutive day on Monday across several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, turning the weather pleasant and lowering temperatures in both urban and rural areas.
In Peshawar, a mix of clouds, cool winds and light rainfall ended the recent dry spell, drawing residents outdoors.
Many citizens were seen enjoying the cooler weather, with increased footfall at roadside eateries and shops selling hot food.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, light rain was recorded in Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda, Khyber and Kohat, as well as other plain districts of the province.
In contrast, parts of Malakand and Hazara divisions received snowfall, covering surrounding mountains with a white blanket and further dropping temperatures in the upper regions.
The weather department said the current spell has improved overall conditions, while residents welcomed the change, describing it as a relief from dry and dusty weather.
