ANP to attend PTI govt’s peace jirga on November 12
The Awami National Party (ANP) on Monday announced that it will participate in the peace jirga convened by the PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on November 12.
ANP’s provincial president Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the ANP has always supported peace, democracy, and the supremacy of the Constitution.
He added that the party is ready to play a constructive role on every forum to ensure lasting peace in the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that a delegation led by him will attend the peace jirga and that the ANP will participate with a principled stance.
He emphasised that all stakeholders must play a serious and responsible role to establish sustainable peace in the province.
