The Karachi Commissioner has imposed a ban on the entry of heavy traffic on the road connecting Malir Halt to Jinnah Avenue.

According to the official notification, the movement of all heavy vehicles on Jinnah Avenue will be prohibited from November 11.

The decision was taken on the recommendation of the Regional Transport Authority.

However, goods transport vehicles will continue to operate on routes including National Highway and Sassi Toll Plaza, the notification added.
