Dengue cases surge in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 54 new infections reported
Dengue cases continued to spread across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, with 54 new confirmed cases reported in the last 24 hours, according to the provincial health department on Saturday.
Twenty-two new patients have been admitted to various hospitals, while a total of 38 dengue patients remain under treatment.
The number of active dengue cases in the province has reached 410, the report said
Since the beginning of the year, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 5,435 dengue cases. Of these, 1,894 patients were admitted to hospitals, and 5,023 have recovered.
Two dengue-related deaths have been reported so far this year.
According to district-wise data, 15 patients are currently under treatment in Nowshera, 13 in Mardan, and 5 in Charsadda.
