Dengue deaths rise to 25 in Sindh as cases cross 10,000 mark
Four more people died from dengue fever in Sindh during the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 25 across the province, according to the health department.
During the same period, a total of 5,899 tests were conducted across Sindh, of which 1,192 came back positive.
641 positive cases out of 4,371 tests were reported in Karachi, while Hyderabad confirmed 550 new infections.
Hospitals across the province also reported a steady rise in admissions, with 109 new dengue patients admitted to government hospitals and 100 to private hospitals in the past 24 hours.
Health authorities said that 4,940 dengue cases have been recorded so far this month, bringing the total number of infections this year to 10,502.
Officials have urged citizens to take precautionary measures and help prevent mosquito breeding to curb the spread of the virus.
