PM thanks expatriates as remittances surpass $3.4 billions in October
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed gratitude to the overseas Pakistanis as the foreign remittances surpassed $3.4 billion, marking an 11.9 per cent increase in October.
The prime minister, in a statement, said that a consistent rise in remittances reflected the trust expatriates had in the government’s policies.
“Overseas Pakistanis are our invaluable assets, serving the nation and country by sending their hard-earned money,” he remarked.
