Chairman SIC Sahibzada Hamid Raza arrested by Islamabad police
Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Chairman and Member of the National Assembly, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, has been arrested by Islamabad police.
According to reports, Hamid Raza was travelling from Peshawar to Faisalabad to surrender when he was taken into custody.

Acting SIC Chairman Sahibzada Hasan Raza has confirmed Hamid Raza’s arrest.
An anti-terrorism court in Faisalabad convicted Sahibzada Muhammad Hamid Raza, MNA from NA-104 Faisalabad-X, along with over 100 other supporters of Imran Khan, for violent riots, targeting military installations in 2023.
On August 05, he was also disqualified and notified under Article 63(1)(h) of the Constitution by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
