Nawaz Sharif departs for London on routine medical check-up
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif left for London on Monday aboard a commercial flight to undergo a routine medical check-up, family sources confirmed.
Nawaz Sharif, who recently underwent an MRI at the Punjab Institute of Neurosciences in Lahore due to complaints of neck and muscle pain, is expected to spend around two weeks in the United Kingdom.
Family sources said the visit is strictly for routine health examinations. This marks Nawaz Sharif’s second trip to London this year, following a similar visit in June.
The PML-N leader is likely to consult doctors during his stay before returning to Pakistan ahead of key political developments.
