Punjab Education Foundation raises monthly fees in partner schools across the province

New rates set from Rs800 to Rs2,200 per student to improve teacher pay and school standards

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has announced an increase in monthly fees for its partner schools across the province, according to a notification issued on Saturday.

Under the revised structure, the fee per student from Nursery to Grade-2 has been fixed at Rs800, while students in Grades-3 to Grade-5 will pay Rs900 per month. For Grades-6 to Grade-8, the fee has been set at Rs1,100 per child.

At the secondary level, students in grades nine and ten will pay Rs1,400 per month in the Arts Group and Rs1,800 in the Science and Technical Group.

For intermediate classes, Arts Group students will pay Rs2,000, while Science Group students will pay Rs2,200 per month.

According to the PEF notification, the increase was made in light of the flood situation, with the stated aim of raising teachers’ salaries and improving the overall quality of education in partner schools.
