Notable index-heavy stocks including ARL, NRL, HUBCO, MARI, POL, PPL, SSGC, HBL, MCB, and NBP all traded in the positive.

In contrast, the PSX had closed in negative territory on Thursday, with the KSE-100 Index ending the session at 147,343.50 points, down 150.52 points or 0.10%, due to ongoing pressure from futures rollover activities.
