In the fifth and final test match of the series on Monday, India clinched the victory against England by six runs, taking the last four England wickets in just an hour.

While chasing the target of 373 runs, the English team were all out on 367 runs on the last day of the test match.

Mohammad Siraj’s devastating five-wicket haul was found to be imposing.

After taking wickets of English Captain Ollie Pope and Zack Crawley, he sent Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, and finally Gus Atkinson back to the pavilion to win the test match.

Prasidh Krishna also took four wickets for India, including the critical wicket of English batting maestro Joe Root, who was standing on the crease at 105, breaking his implacable partnership with Harry Brook.

Akash Deep dismissed Harry Brook, who had also scored a brilliant century.
