Israel launches fresh strikes on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility
Israeli fighter jets have launched a second wave of air strikes targeting Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, Iranian officials confirmed on Monday.
The attacks come less than 24 hours after a major US-led aerial assault on several Iranian nuclear sites, including Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow.
According to local reports, loud explosions were heard across Tehran and its surrounding areas, with some blasts occurring near a hospital in the northwestern outskirts of the capital.
The intensity of the strike on Tehran is being described as severe, raising alarm across the region.
These renewed Israeli attacks followed US air strikes that President Donald Trump claimed had “completely destroyed” Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
However, analysts and some officials remain cautious, saying it is too early to accurately assess the full impact on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
