Sindh Cabinet approves Rs3451.87b budget for FY 2025-26

The Sindh Cabinet approved a Rs3,451.87 billion budget for the fiscal year 2025–26 during a pre-budget meeting chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House on Friday.

The meeting was attended by the Sindh Chief Secretary, provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, and other senior officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Shah said the budget proposals for the upcoming fiscal year had been thoroughly reviewed during the cabinet session.

He noted that the proposals were collected from across the province under the directives of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Shah emphasized that the PPP has always prioritized public welfare and national interests.

“This year’s Sindh budget will be prepared with a focus on public needs,” he said, adding that government employees would also receive relief in the upcoming financial plan.
