KP Governor extends congratulations to U.S. on Independence Day
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, attended a special ceremony held at the US Embassy in Islamabad to mark the United States’ Independence Day.
On the occasion, Governor Kundi extended heartfelt congratulations to the US Caretaker Ambassador in Pakistan, Natalie A. Baker, as well as the government and people of the United States, on behalf of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and himself.
Speaking at the event, the Governor highlighted the longstanding, deep, and multifaceted relations between Pakistan and the United States.
He said that these ties are rooted in mutual respect, cooperation, and understanding, and have grown stronger over time.
Governor Kundi emphasized the shared history of the two nations in addressing global and regional challenges through collaboration, expressing hope for opening new avenues of partnership in the future.
He also thanked the United States for its continued support of development projects across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan, particularly in the areas of education, health, economy, and security.
