Gold prices drop by Rs1,400 to Rs347,200 per tola across Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs1,400 per tola on Friday, bringing the new rate down to Rs347,200, following a dip in the global bullion market.
In the international bullion market, gold prices dropped by $14 per ounce, pushing the new global rate to $3,288 per ounce. This international trend led to a similar decrease in Pakistan’s gold market.
Locally, the price of 24-karat gold per tola declined by Rs1,400 to reach Rs347,200. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,200, now standing at Rs297,668.
Silver prices also saw a downward revision. The price of one tola silver fell by Rs24, settling at Rs3,356, while the price for 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs21, now at Rs2,962.
