A man died after diving in the swimming pool in Fatahpur, district Layyah, on Saturday.

According to Rescue sources, Muhammad Liaqat (24),r/o Chak 95-ML, jumped into the swimming pool but suffered a fatal head injury after hitting the bottom.

The impact led to his immediate death by drowning.

Lack of safety measures at the pool was believed to be the main cause of the accident.

Following the previous tragedy, Assistant Commissioner of Karor Lal Esan, Noor Muhammad, had ordered the pool to be sealed.
