Imran Khan will not back down, insists PTI’s Shandana Gulzar
PTI leader and Member of the National Assembly Shandana Gulzar has said that party founder Imran Khan will not enter into any deal, asserting that his stance remains unchanged and he will not back down.
Speaking to the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court in Rawalpindi, Shandana stated Imran Khan will not enter into any deal with anyone. There has been no flexibility in his position, nor is he someone who retreats, she said.
Her comments come a day after PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar also echoed the same position. Talking to journalists in Islamabad, Gohar had said that Imran Khan had always made it clear that he does not believe in any secret or public deal.
Legal cases and defiance
Shandana Gulzar further revealed that two cases were registered against her merely for speaking in favour of party workers. “I am not someone who will be intimidated,” she said, adding that justice must be served. “Unfortunately, this country is now being run on revenge, not law.”
Recently, she sparked controversy by sharply criticising the judiciary, saying, “If justice is not served, the people themselves will reach the homes of these judges.
She further warned, “We are not among those who knock on doors—we are among those who break them.”
Her controversial statement drew strong reaction from both political and judicial circles. However, standing by her words, Shandana maintained, “Whoever commits injustice against Imran Khan will never be forgiven by the people.”
