COAS visits CMH Rawalpindi, lauds bravery of injured soldiers, civilians

Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited CMH Rawalpindi to inquire after the soldiers and innocent civilians injured during the Operation Bunyān Marsūs, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief met each of the injured personnel individually and praised their extraordinary spirit, courage, and sense of duty.

General Munir reiterated the Pakistan Armed Forces’ unwavering commitment to the continued care, rehabilitation, and welfare of the wounded.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan’s civilians and soldiers are the foundation of the country’s security. “The entire nation stands in complete solidarity with every member of its armed forces,” the COAS affirmed.

He emphasised that no plan or conspiracy of the enemy can weaken the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces.

The army chief added that the resolute and unified response shown by the Pakistani nation during Operation Bunyān-um-Marsoos, backed by steadfast public support, marks a significant chapter in the country’s military history.
