Pakistan has taken a strong stance against India, extending its response from the aerial front to maritime actions.

The Pakistani Ministry of Maritime Affairs has announced a ban on the entry of Indian-flagged vessels into its waters and ports.

A notification has been issued, providing clear guidelines for Indian cargo ships in this regard. This decision follows India’s recent move to completely prohibit the entry of Pakistani-flagged ships into its ports.

The ministry emphasized that under the new directive, not only will Indian ships be barred from Pakistani ports, but Pakistani-flagged vessels will also be restricted from docking at Indian ports.

The ministry cited the ongoing tensions between the two nations as the rationale behind this decision. It also mentioned that any requests for exemptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
