‘No one should be mistaken,’ COAS warns India against military adventurism
Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has warned that any Indian military adventurism will be met with a resolute response, asserting that Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace does not compromise its preparedness or national resolve.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief visited the Tilla Field Firing Ranges, where he observed war exercises conducted by the Mangla Strike Corps. During the visit, General Munir reviewed the combat readiness and tactical drills of the troops.
Speaking to soldiers on the occasion, the Army Chief said, “No one should be under any illusion—any Indian military misadventure will be responded to forcefully.” He reaffirmed that while Pakistan is committed to regional peace, it will unwaveringly safeguard its national interests.
General Munir praised the morale, combat skills, and dedication of the troops and reiterated the armed forces’ unshakable resolve to defend the sovereignty and security of the motherland.
He emphasised that Pakistan’s forces remain fully prepared to protect national sovereignty and deter aggression, stating that their determination and preparations are steadfast and absolute.
