When Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived at the National Assembly session, a commotion erupted. Both opposition and government representatives engaged in intense chanting, making it nearly impossible to conduct proceedings.

As the Prime Minister entered, the opposition began to shout “Ooh Ooh,” and their protests intensified within the chamber. Members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held up placards and stood on their seats to demonstrate. Opposition Leader Umar Ayub actively joined in the chanting.

Meanwhile, government members surrounded the Prime Minister’s seat and started responding with their own slogans. Minister for Information Atta Tarar also joined in the chants. Several key members from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), including Dr. Tariq Fazal and Hanif Abbasi, formed a barrier between the Prime Minister and the opposition.

The noise in the assembly was so overwhelming that it drowned out all sound, but the Speaker continued the proceedings, wearing headphones to hear over the chaos.

Members of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) appeared indifferent to the situation, sitting quietly at their seats, while the opposition tore up copies of the agenda and threw them into the air.
