The Balochistan government has announced public holidays from October 31 to November 2 for Hindu government employees in observance of the Diwali festival.

This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing commitment to fostering religious harmony and inclusivity within the province.

In a statement, the provincial government emphasized the significance of Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, celebrated by Hindus globally.

To facilitate the celebrations, salaries for Hindu employees were disbursed on October 24, ensuring they can enjoy this festive occasion with their families and communities.
