A complaint has been filed against the Lahore High Court Chief Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed at the Judicial Council.

The complaint was filed through the registry by Rifaqat Ali Tanoli. It was alleged that the LHC chief justice had become an obstacle in the process of justice for the “mysterious murder” of the complainant’s son.

The complaint further alleged that LHC Chief Justice Ahmed misused his office and position and demanded that he be removed for misconduct.

Tanoli confirmed that the complaint was sent to the judicial council on May 29.
