Two soldiers martyred in North Waziristan IED explosion
Search operation is underway to hunt terrorists in the area
RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in general area Esham of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan District, the military’s media wing said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) the explosion took place on September 24.
It said that the martyred soldiers were identified as Naib Subedar Javed Iqbal (42), resident of Attock and Naik Hussain Ahmed (38), resident of Okara.
The ISPR said that area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to eliminate any terrorists in the area.
