Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad met Pope Leo at the Vatican at an event which was also attended by religious scholars, clerics, and leaders from various faiths around the world.

During the meeting, both sides discussed global peace and the promotion of interfaith harmony and matters of mutual interest.

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad also presented a book titled Paigham-e-Pakistan to the Pope.

Maulana Azad stressed that interfaith harmony is the need of the hour and that dialogue among faiths can pave the way for peace in the world.

He also called for an end to violent attitudes and the promotion of respect for humanity.

In his remarks, Pope Leo highlighted the importance of interfaith dialogue and harmony across the world.

He also stressed the need to strengthen mutual understanding among different religions.

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad also extended an invitation to Pope Leo to visit Pakistan.
