The Meteorological Department has forecast humid and partly cloudy weather in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today (Saturday), saying more rains are expected in most districts of the province.
According to the forecast, rain will occur in areas including Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda, Swabi, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Buner and Malakand.
Similarly, Bajaur, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Haripur and Abbottabad are likely to receive showers.
In addition to Khyber, Mohmand, Kurram, Orakzai districts, the southern districts of Bannu, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, and North and South Waziristan will also receive rain.

There is a risk of flash floods and swelling of local streams and rivers due to the rain, while there are chances of landslides in Chitral, Swat, Buner, Dir, Shangla and Kohistan, as well as in Battagram, Torghar, Abbottabad and Mansehra.
Rain lashed many areas of the province on Friday. The highest rainfall was recorded in Timergara at 98mm, followed by Malam Jabba at 76mm, Kakul at 64mm, while Balakot and Saidu Sharif recorded 41 mm each.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Peshawar was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, and today the temperature could reach 39 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Malam Jabba was 16 degrees Celsius, and in Kalam it was 17 degrees Celsius.
