Met office forecasts rain for some regions amid widespread heat, humidity

The Met Office has predicted rain in several regions across the country, while many areas are likely to continue experiencing hot and humid weather conditions.

In Islamabad, overcast skies prevail with chances of rainfall today. Punjab is expected to remain largely hot and humid; however, showers are likely in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, and Attock.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will see partly cloudy weather, with rain forecast for Dir, Swat, Malakand, Bajaur, and Shangla.

Most districts of Sindh and Balochistan are set to remain hot and humid, though scattered rains could occur in Musakhel, Khuzdar, Zhob, and Kalat.

Meanwhile, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are also expected to experience cloudy conditions with the possibility of rain.

The Met Office has urged relevant departments and the public to take precautionary measures, warning of potential landslides in hilly areas and urban flooding in low-lying zones during the wet spell.
