Seventh small-scale earthquake hits Karachi in 24 hours

Malir was jolted by a seventh earthquake on Monday, with tremors felt at exactly 1:11pm, continuing the series of seismic activity in the city.

Karachi experienced earthquake tremors for the sixth time since yesterday, raising concerns among residents. The latest tremors were felt in the Malir area, with the quake measuring 2.2 on the Richter scale.

According to the Seismological Center, the epicenter was located in Malir and its surrounding areas at a depth of 29 kilometers.

Earthquake tremors were once again felt in Karachi on Monday morning at 11:05am. It was the fifth earthquake in the city since the first struck on Sunday evening.

Initial reports said the latest tremors were felt in Quaidabad and nearby areas, causing panic among residents.

People rushed out of homes and offices as a precaution, though no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
