Dar, Turkish envoy hold in-depth discussions on regional security concerns

Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, where the two engaged in “in-depth” discussions on regional security issues on Wednesday (today).

During the meeting, the ambassador expressed Turkey’s strong solidarity with Pakistan following India’s unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives.

This was highlighted in a press release from Pakistan’s Foreign Office.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to maintaining close coordination and cooperation on regional matters.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had also contacted Deputy Prime Minister Dar to express Turkey’s support for Pakistan in the face of India’s aggression.

He condemned India’s violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and the killing of civilians, voicing concern over the worsening security situation in the region.

Both leaders agreed to continue working closely together to address the evolving circumstances.
