The bustling Korangi Flyover (KPT Bridge) in Karachi is closed for maintenance for one month, effective today.

Traffic police report that the flyover will be shut to vehicles from April 26 to May 26 due to essential repair work.

During this period, officials have announced that traffic will be diverted from beneath the KPT Bridge to Korangi Road to help reduce disruptions.

The flyover’s condition had worsened recently, leading to considerable travel challenges for commuters.

To address safety concerns and improve travel conditions, the administration has initiated these repair efforts.
