JI Munim Zafar announces strike in Karachi on April 26

The Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Munim Zafar, strongly criticized the silence of the international community, the Muslim world, and human rights organizations regarding the ongoing Israeli aggression and humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

He announced, “A complete strike will be observed on April 26 against the atrocities in Palestine.” He urged all stakeholders to support this initiative.

Munim Zafar stated, “On April 13, the people of Karachi demonstrated solidarity with Gaza, sending a clear message to the world that the Pakistani people stand with their Palestinian brothers.” He described Gaza as resembling a graveyard, with 90% of the area devastated.

He expressed regret that “the decisions of the International Court have not been implemented, and the United Nations, global organizations, and even the OIC and Arab League have maintained a criminal silence.” He referred to the OIC as a “practically dead entity” and noted that the Arab League remains a silent bystander.

Munim Zafar mentioned, “The fighters of Hamas are still standing firm against Israeli aggression, and their only demand is that Israeli forces withdraw from Gaza. The entire Gaza still supports Hamas.”

He alleged that U.S. support is behind Israeli terrorism, stating that while the U.S. preaches about human rights, it is violating them itself.

He concluded by saying, “If Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia decide, this oppression can be stopped.” Munim Zafar appealed to the Pakistani public, especially traders, industrialists, and students in Karachi, to express solidarity with the Palestinians and completely boycott Israeli products.
