Opposition grand alliance to hold major conference in Islamabad

The Opposition Grand Alliance has decided to convene a major meeting in Islamabad as part of its anti-government movement.

According to sources, the opposition coalition will hold a conference on February 26-27 in the federal capital, extending invitations to all opposition parties to participate.

The conference will focus on shaping the future course of action and setting the agenda for the upcoming anti-government campaign.

Sources confirm that all parties within the alliance are expected to attend the gathering.

Meanwhile, progress has been made in expanding the opposition coalition.

A joint committee has been formed between the Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Aain (TTA) and the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) to strengthen the movement.

According to sources, the committee comprises Dr. Safdar Abbasi, Sardar Rahim, Zain Shah, and Husnain Mirza from the GDA.

Representing the TTA are Salman Akram Raja, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Nasir Shirazi, Haleem Adil Sheikh, Sajid Tareen, and Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai.

The committee’s primary task will be to finalise key points for a unified political struggle. Following this, the next opposition gathering will take place on February 26-27 in Islamabad.
