The government has formed a special 18-member committee under the chairmanship of the Finance Minister to monitor petroleum products.

According to the details, the committee will closely monitor the prices and stocks of petroleum products.

It will review the supply and demand situation on a daily basis and prepare daily reports on stock and supply.

The report will be submitted to the Prime Minister every day.

Officials said the committee includes the Governor, as well as the Energy and Petroleum Ministers.
